Ý định khởi nghiệp của sinh viên kỹ thuật: Vai trò của động lực và rào cản
Mục đích của nghiên cứu là khám phá các động lực và rào cản cảm nhận liên quan đến khởi nghiệp
và đánh giá ảnh hưởng của chúng đến ý định khởi nghiệp của sinh viên ngành kỹ thuật. Sử dụng
dữ liệu của 350 đáp viên là sinh viên trường Đại học Bách khoa, ĐHQG-HCM, nghiên cứu đã xác
định được các yếu tố động lực và rào cản chính đối với khởi nghiệp. Dữ liệu sau đó được hồi quy
thống kê để xác định các mối quan hệ nhân quả giữa các động lực, rào cản, và ý định khởi nghiệp.
Kết quả cho thấy sự sáng tạo, sự độc lập, và động lực kinh tế có tác động tích cực đến ý định khởi
nghiệp, và động lực quan trọng nhất cho ý định khởi nghiệp của sinh viên kỹ thuật là sự sáng tạo.
Ngược lại, thiếu kiến thức là rào cản duy nhất (thuộc rào cản bên trong) gây cản trở đến ý định
khởi nghiệp của sinh viên. Những kết quả này ngụ ý rằng ý định khởi nghiệp của sinh viên bị tác
động mạnh bởi các yếu tố bên trong (cho cả động lực và rào cản) hơn là các yếu tố bên ngoài. Xét
tương quan về mức độ tác động của động lực và rào cản đến ý định khởi nghiệp, kết quả cho thấy
tác động của động lực nhìn chung là mạnh hơn so với tác động của rào cản. Các phát hiện này có
hàm ý quan trọng đối với các nhà giáo dục và các nhà hoạch định chính sách.

Entrepreneurial intention of engineering students: the role of motivations and barriers Bui Huy Hai Bich*, Pham TienMinh Use your smartphone to scan this QR code and download this article ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to explore perceptions of entrepreneurial motivations and barriers and to assess their influence on the entrepreneurial intention of engineering students. Using data of 350 respondents who are students at HCMC University of Technology, VNU-HCM, the study iden- tifies the key motives and barriers towards entrepreneurship. The data are then subjected to sta- tistical regression in order to identify causal relationships between the motivations, barriers, and entrepreneurial intention. The results indicate that creativity, independence, and economic mo- tivation have a positive impact on entrepreneurial intention and that the most important moti- vator for the entrepreneurial intention of engineering students is creativity. On the contrary, lack of knowledge is the only barrier (an internal barrier) that impedes the students' intention of en- trepreneurship. These results imply that the students' entrepreneurial intention is more affected by internal factors (for both motivations and barriers) than external factors. In terms of the relative power of the effects of motives and barriers on students' entrepreneurial intention, the results sug- gest that the impact of motivations is generally more powerful than that of barriers.
